Survival At Sea Game

  • For this activity we were given a sheet of paper with 15 items. We had to then rate the items from most important to least imortant as if we were stranded on a small raft in the Pacific Ocean.
  • The top two choices that I made were the water and the army rations. I figured food and water would be the most important thing for survival because they are basic needs that our bodies have.
  • The least important to me were the rum and the oil. I figured that survival was more important than being found. And I figured that the rum and oil had no significance in order to survive but i was wrong.
  • My team agreed that the food and water was more important in order for us to survive.
  • Compared to the correct answers, our responsed were sort of way off. We only got one of them right and it was the shark repelent.

Tennis Ball Activity

  • The challenge of the activity was to make a tennis ball touch everybody's hand as we were standing in a circle.

  • Our plan was to put all of our hands in a cirlce touching eachothers hands. The first person would then lift their hand and the ball would move forward and roll onto the next persons hand and they would do the same thing as the first person.

  • The execution of our plan worked fairly well, it didn't work everytime but for the most part it was a good idea.

  • I would keep the idea of having all of our hands touching eachothers.

  • It would have been better if we somehow made a ladder out of our hands and the ball could easily fall down the path.

-The colaboration of our team is what really helped us to come of with such a great plan. Everybody was thinking as a team and we eventually came to a conclusion that we all agreed with. The best type of colaboration was for one person to come up with an idea and then everybody else build off of it.

-I believe that the game was just for fun at first, but then we all were getting excited and wanted to have the fastes time so it evolved into a competion.
